Our school is registered for children from the ages of 3 to 19. We provide a range of educational opportunities for children and young people with complex physical disabilities, medical challenges and a range of associated learning difficulties within an holistic, integrated and sensory model. We are so much more than just a school!
Students learning is enabled by specialist teachers and support assistants as well as a range of therapists. Using a suitable curriculum framework, students engage in a rolling programme of themes (e.g. Healthy Living and France) which enables core subjects such as ICT, Literacy, Numeracy, Science and SMSC to be delivered and assessed. Visual symbols, sounds, interactive and sensory methods of learning are used to engage our students, who have access to the very best equipment. Brightly coloured displays, mood lit corridors, interactive learning spaces, soft play areas, a trampoline room and a sensory music and light room, ensure all our students learn in a stimulating environment and have time out for fun activities.
We offer daily, weekly or termly education packages, with the additional offer of residential opportunities in our Ofsted registered Children’s Home.
